Happy Spring!

Todaiji Daibutsuden

Here’s a nice haiku I found, courtesy of KyotoDailyPhoto and composed by Kobayashi Issa:

片隅の Katasumi no
天神さまも Tenjinsama mo
うめの花 Ume no hana

Which is translated in English as:

Even the heavenly gods
crowd ’round
plum blossoms

Happy Spring Everyone!

P.S. Photo above was taken by me about 3 years ago. This is the Daibutsuden (Buddha Hall) of Todaiji Temple in Nara, Japan. The photo was taken in April.

P.P.S. For people living in the Southern Hemisphere, Happy Autumn!
