Happy Tanabata 2013

Tanabata as drawn by my daughter

Hi all,

The festival of Tanabata (七夕) is coming up. I wanted to share this drawing my daughter made. This is her memory of last year when we sat together and waiting for the stars to come out. At the top, you can see Hikoboshi on the left and Otohime on the right. She drew this on the back of a receipt from Gap, so you can see the text through the paper. 😉

Happy Tanabata Everyone!

P.S. I looked up the Chinese/Korean version of the holiday (Qixi in Chinese, Chilseok in Korean 칠석), but it falls on August 13th I think in the Lunar Calendar. So, I’ll post again for that version.
